This is actually the second flame I did for this. The first was nice, but I think the depiction of the wings of Death were a bit... juvenile. This is much more subtle. I actually spent about 30 minutes trying to do a third version and create a blur or lens flare effect in the middle, but I couldn't. (The x-y origin of this flame is actually the center of the bottom left Loonie ring, and that's where the blurs would appear.) After 30 minutes of trying, the cothe's Complex Polynomial variation errored out, and I had to close Apophysis. I took this as a sign to stop.
